Dairy

Harvest Market emphasizes selling the highest quality dairy and eggs available. Our Natural By Nature milk is certified organic and comes from a small group of family farms in nearby Lancaster and Chester counties in Pennsylvania. The cows are fed exclusively a diet of grass and hay—no grain or soy is allowed. The milk these cows produce is then low-temperature pasteurized to maximize nutrition and digestibility.
Harvest Market carries a thoughtful selection of Yogurts and Kefirs as well. The star of our yogurt selection has seven—stars that is—Seven Stars Yogurt from Kimberton PA, which is located in the northeastern tip of Chester County. As with our Maple Hill Yogurts from New York, Seven Stars Yogurts are made from whole, organic milk from grass-raised cows with the cream layer left on top. We also carry variety of non-fat, low-fat and Greek-style yogurts as well as goat milk and sheep milk yogurts. Some of our favorite local dairy farms include Linden Dale Farm, Goat Rodeo, Clover Creek Cheese, FireFly Farm and Calkins Creamery, Champlain Valley Creamery, and Chaseholm Creamery. view more
