Menstrual Health Day is a global platform that raises awareness of the challenges faced by half the world’s population due to their menstruation and highlights solutions that address these challenges.

VISION: To create a world in which every woman and girl can manage her menstruation in a healthy and hygienic way – wherever she is – in privacy, safety and with dignity.

MISSION: Menstrual Health Day will help to break the silence and build awareness about the fundamental role that good menstrual health plays in enabling women and girls to reach their full potential.

What’s in Store at Harvest Market

Harvest Market Natural Foods is proud to sell a variety of alternative, healthy menstrual products, from organic tampons to reusable menstrual cups to Floradix iron supplements, herbal teas and so much more, we have it all! We are a source for the products you need and we welcome you to try these items (and maybe something new!) on International Menstrual Health Day. We will have free samples from Natracare, Gladrags, Traditional Medicinals and Urban Moonshine, literature about our products and giveaways from some of our favorite vendors. Let’s honor our bodies and celebrate together!

Way to Give Back! During the month of May, Harvest Market will be collecting period product donations for the Kennett Food Cupboard. Menstrual products are in extremely great need of food banks across the country, so please bring extra supplies from home (unopened) or buy extra pads, tampons, cloth pads or a menstrual cup for people in need.
